For the Overwhelmed & Overworked: Slow Life (슬로우 라이프) Book Meetup in Seoul

I’ve been running a book club in New York, and I’m excited to bring it to Seoul while working at a law firm here.

For our first meetup, we’ll read Robert Walser’s The Walk. It’s a short, charming book about slowing down and noticing the little things. Walser’s writing is vivid, whimsical, and reflective. For many readers, it’s one of those unforgettable books — the kind you keep thinking about.

It’s a great pick for anyone who enjoys city life, long walks, and the art of slowing down. It’s also the kind of book you can enjoy discussing even if you haven’t read every page — just come ready to share and listen. You’re welcome to drop in at any time during the event and leave whenever you need to. It’s a casual, open space to share perspectives on paying attention to everyday life, staying creative in a busy world, and understanding ourselves better.

I speak English, French, Turkish, and German. Our discussion will be in English, but feel free to chime in in any language — as long as I can translate, you’re most welcome.
