Impressions in Ink: A Lino Printing Workshop

This Lino Printing workshop offers an exciting hands-on experience where participants can explore the art of relief printing using linoleum blocks. During the workshop attendees are guided through the entire process from transferring the design to carving the linoleum surface and finally printing their designs onto paper.  

Participants will have the opportunity to:

• Learn the process of Lino Printing including design transfer carving linoleum sheet ink application printing.

• Theoretical knowledge about various materials used.

• Engage and connect with each other in a vibrant environment.

• Take away your own printed artworks/rakhi cards!

This workshop is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a fun activity with friends/family or simply enjoy the therapeutic benefits of creating carving.

All materials will be provided and no prior experience is necessary.

Artist Description:

Kritika Jain is an artist from Ahmedabad who works across various styles like lino printing wall murals and hyper-realistic art and portraits. She had passed out from Anant National University with B.Sc. in Architectural Science and pursued Foundation Diploma in Fine Arts from Kanoria Centre for Arts. 

She turns her imperfections into unique art by carving patterns into linoleum or adding fine details to her charcoal drawings. She loves to conduct offline workshops spreading the knowledge she posses make new connections with people and teach something fun and interesting to them.
