RICH LOCKHART BAND Returns to the Rear Window

We are excited to welcome the RICH LOCKHART BAND and their unique blend of GUITAR-FUELED ROCK, BLUES, & REGGAE/SKA back to our stage!

Rich Lockhart Band is a south Texas based band, with music ranging from Rock, Blues, Soul, to Reggae much more!

At the helm is Rich Lockhart on lead vocal and guitar playing shows from South Texas to Hawaii. Born in New Mexico and raised in Texas, Rich was influenced by an array of artists like Jimi Hendrix, Billy Gibbons, Stevie Ray Vaughan,and many more. Much like water, original music pours out in the path of least resistance and naturally flows. Racking up 200+ shows a year music is constant for Rich Lockhart and his family.

With Benjamin Lewis on Drums, it’s easy to jump on the train track of steady and precise beats put forth. Born and raised in Corpus Christi Texas, Benjamin grew up in a household full of musically oriented/gifted family, with the sounds of Chopin played by his sister on Sunday mornings, his mother singing Chaka Khan and Sade, his bluesman father belting out Neville Brothers and Sam Cooke, or his grandmother, singing Gospel music, it’s safe to say music is in Benjamin‘s blood and spirit.

Derek Parten on rhythm/lead guitar began his musical journey, just outside of Houston and Angleton Texas. Heavily influenced by his father‘s taste in music, an early love for blues and soul music paved the way for Derek to take the stage. Listening to artist like Ray Charles, Eric Clapton, and Muddy Waters to name a few, when Derek wields his Gibson Custom Shop guitar, you can hear the soul and blues ring true.

Tony Valdez, a Corpus Christi Native, brings the thunder with his custom five string bass. Holding endorsements from Eich Amplification, Caveman Audio, Spector Basses, and FBass, Tony is a seasoned musician with influences across the board. Working with the likes of Buddy, Miles, Erykah Badu and Nayrok Badu, Grammy winning Tejano artist Solido, and Lance Lopez, also sharing the stage with Joe Bonamassa, Buddy Guy, Derek Trucks, Rod Stewart, Def Leppard, and many more, it’s safe to say he is well-versed and professional as they come.

Rear Window Listening Room is an UPSTAIRS venue. There is a chairlift for those requiring assistance.

Doors open and dinner is served at 7pm. The show begins at 8pm.
