Time: 7:15 PM – 9:15 PM (2 hours per session)

WEEK 1 – Foundations of Musicality & Shines (10th Sept)
Musicality Training
Understanding Salsa timing (on1/on2) and rhythm structures.
Identifying instruments and how to interpret them in your dancing.
Shines & Body Movement
Footwork drills for speed, clarity & precision.
Upper body isolation & coordination (hips, shoulders, chest).
Partnerwork Application
Rhythm connection in partnerwork.
Applying shines seamlessly into social dancing.
WEEK 2 – Styling & Expression (17th Sept)
Musicality & Interpretation
How to dance with the melody vs percussion.
Dancing to breaks, accents & hits.
Shines & Body Movement
Advanced shines with syncopation.
Arm styling & posture for men & ladies.
Afro & Rumba influence in body movement.
Partnerwork
Integrating styling while leading/following.
Smooth transitions between shines and partnerwork.
WEEK 3 – Stage & Social Mastery (24th Sept)
Musicality & Performance
Layering expression: dancing like a performer on stage and socially.
Training to improvise with confidence.
Shines & Body Movement
Complex shines combinations with dynamic rhythm changes.
Polishing body movement to look effortless & fluid.
Partnerwork Masterclass
Advanced combinations with styling.
Lead & follow technique for clean execution.
Final Group Showcase Exercise
Applying all 3 weeks into a short social/performative sequence.
