GSBA Annual Show and Sale of Ireland's Native Sheep Breed called The Galway

The Galway Sheep Breeders’ Association are holding their 103 rd annual Show and Sale in
Athenry Mart on Friday, September 12th 2025 and, following the successful sales of the past
two years, this is again an Evening Sale. All sheep must be penned by 3 p.m., with the judging
starting at 4 p.m. and the sale starting at 6 p.m. (sharp) to facilitate buyers online. Sheep
entered for the sale must be registered in the Breeder’s Flock Book with Sheep Ireland in
accordance with the Association’s Rules.
