Art exhibition launch - Catherine Nolan

Join us at Galway City Library on Thursday 21 August at 6:30pm for the launch of "From West to East: The Art of Catherine Nolan".
Catherine is a visual artist whose work was inspired by her travels to Venice and Burano (a small island off Venice) and living in the West Coast of Ireland.
This exhibition explores the vibrant and colorful journey as water flows from a gentle rhythm in the canals of Venice to the roaring waves of the Atlantic ocean flowing onwards along the West coast of Ireland to the East coast of America connecting countries places and people.
Her work reflects the meeting points between land, sea and sky using layered acrylics.
The event will be launched by artist Jennifer Cunningham.
