2025 Theater Camp Jack and the Beanstalk

We are excited to announce our fourth annual Theater Camp. We will be putting on the play Jack and the Beanstalk! In this play, Jack climbs to a World Above the Clouds. Here is the classic tale told country style. Banjos twang and the hills ring with country folk music. Down in Sweetwater Holler, poor Mama can't get Jack to do a thing. When she sends Jack to market to sell the cow, we're off on a high flyin' adventure!

This camp is for students that are going into 3rd through 12th grade. We are looking for actors/actresses and stage designers/workers. Camp will run every Monday through Thursday from June 2nd - 26th. We will meet from 1-3 pm at the Galva Arts Council. The address is 128 Exchange Street in Galva, IL. The performance will be on Saturday June 28th at 7pm. Campers need to try to be at all practices and the performance. There is a $20 fee to help cover the cost of costumes and stage design. If you can not pay the fee please let us know and we can waive it.
