A day of music celebrating SunRa and the healing powers of music on Galiano Island

At Oxeye Cafe
- Small group sets from 3:30pm -5:30pm
- Dinner at Oxeye 6pm - 8pm
At Yellowhouse Art Centre
- Full Band Performs 8:00pm - 9:45pm
Begining at Oxeye cafe at 3:30 the band will break into small groups to perform 4 short sets in the spirit of Sun Ra.
After a Dinner break at Oxeye from 6-8, the full band will perform nearly 2 hours of Sun Ra's expansive and infectious music at the Yellowhouse Art Centre.

This event is being held on the unceded, asserted & shared traditional territories of Penelakut, Lamalcha, Hwlitsum and other Hul’qumi’num and SENĆOŦEN speaking peoples, Coast Salish Peoples of Galiano, as well as the ceded territories of Tsawwassen First Nation, on what is now known as Galiano Island.
