Moths are key pollinators and ecological indicators that are often overlooked but so vital to the ecosystem. Join SWMLC naturalist Jessica Hagen and Quyen Edwards from the Kalamazoo Area Wild Ones for an evening of awe and citizen science as we survey moths using a moth sheet and UV light. We’ll record our observations on iNaturalist so, by participating, you’re helping scientists track local biodiversity, shedding light on nocturnal ecosystems, and fostering a deeper connection to the natural world.
