Craig Jeffrey is a Scottish singer-songwriter whose intimate vocals and earnest lyrics have built him a steady following across the country. Hailing from the Scottish Borders, Craig first emerged onto the music scene in 2007 with the EP Hard To Say, followed by his debut album Don’t Blow Away on the Big Sky label.
His early work drew praise locally and nationally, earning radio play and live TV appearances, and leading him to perform widely at Scottish venues and festivals. One of his milestone moments was winning the Danny Kyle Award at Celtic Connections, after which he was invited back for several consecutive years.
Craig is also noted for his collaborations and recording efforts with respected figures in the Scottish music community. He has recorded with Vertical Records under producer Donald Shaw, and released further music including the Connected EP, which received strong reviews and airplay on BBC Radio Scotland and other stations.
Musically, Craig’s songwriting often combines expressive acoustic arrangements with heartfelt storytelling. His work reflects a sense of place and personal reflection, capturing both emotional vulnerability and melodic strength. He continues to write, perform, and work on new material, contributing to the vibrant Scottish singer - songwriter tradition.
Craig is now writing and releasing music as part of the exciting new band SIEGE with their first release Let Me Go In Peace to be released on the 1st of November.
Mixed Signals: Are a small band from the Scottish borders; playing mainly covers and have a small discography of our own. hey like to experiment with genres from pop punk to indie and pop. Lead vocalist Antigone has been singing since she was 4 and developing her skills musically. She takes her inspiration from musicians such as Britney Spears, Evanescence and 5 seconds of summer. Guitarist, Alex, has been experimenting with acoustic but more recently electric. He takes his inspiration from artists such as panic at the disco! Blink 182 and all-time low.
Aimee Maltman: Local up and coming singer songwriter returns to MacArts.
Estranged: Four local young musicians inspired by the likes of Nirvana.
