Ghost Hunt The Old Nick Theatre and Police Museum.
(Sleepover Included Optional)
The Old Nick Theatre is a unique Grade II-listed building that served as Gainsborough’s original Police Station and Courtrooms.
The Victorian Police Station was the divisional headquarters of the Lincolnshire Constabulary and former Magistrates Court between 1860 and 1974. and one of the only remaining examples of this type of building in the United Kingdom
Although the courtroom was converted into a small theatre in 1979, its structure and layout have remained unaltered. The ground-floor museum stands as it would have been when it was opened as the Police Divisional Headquarters in 1860.
Paranormal
The Old Nick Theatre in Gainsborough is a fascinating and frightening place for an overnight ghost hunt. With more than 25 documented deaths on this site between 1860 and 1935, including two suicides and the multitude of rooms, corridors and cells to investigate, this is a foreboding and sinister place.
Ghost hunts at the Old Nick Theatre have seen some shocking poltergeist activity, and people have fled in fear rather than spend time alone in any of the cells. Would you be willing to try spending time locked in the Victorian male and female cells?
