About the event

Waterway Clean UP
We are working with Keep Alachua County Beautiful and CCA Florida!

KACB will be able to provide cleanup supplies such as gloves, grabbers, trash bags, nets, and more. We ask that volunteers bring LOTS of water, long pants, sun protection (sunglasses, long-sleeve, sunscreen, hats), bug spray, aquatic shoes (wading boots, good tennis shoes, etc.) and a snack to participate. These designated sites will be land-based with some minimal wading if volunteers would like to do so.

We will be cleaning up along Sweetwater Branch Creek that runs by Sweetwater Park in downtown Gainesville.
