The Color Purple

The Color Purple musical, based on Alice Walker's novel, tells the story of Celie, a young woman in the early 1900s rural Georgia, who endures hardship and abuse but ultimately finds strength, love, and self-discovery. The musical follows her journey through trauma, heartbreak, and betrayal, as she learns to embrace her own voice and power.
