Join the SF Teaching Zoo and the United States Geological Survey (USGS) on Sunday, May 4th from 9 AM – 1 PM to celebrate the incredible world of amphibians! Meet local conservation experts, play interactive games, and soak up some ribbiting frog facts.

📍 9:30 AM – Weird and Wonderful World of Amphibian Biology
🎤 Dr. David Blackburn shares how frogs, salamanders, and caecilians thrive in diverse habitats worldwide.

📍 10:30 AM – FrogWatch U.S.A: Local Calls and Croaks of Alachua County
🎤 Jade Woodling & Dr. Cody Godwin teach you how to become a community scientist and identify frog calls right in your backyard.

📍 11:30 AM – Discovery and Declines of Amphibians Around the World
🎤 Dr. David Blackburn highlights exciting species discoveries and global conservation efforts.

📍 12:30 PM – Introduced and Invasive Frogs of Florida
🎤 Dr. Steve Johnson uncovers which nonnative frogs are hopping into Florida ecosystems—and what that means for our natives.
