Gift to Gadsden 2025

Gift to Gadsden is a beloved annual event offering free classes and introductory workshops to the community, hosted by First United Methodist Church of Gadsden. Now in its 32nd year, the event takes place each July and features church members sharing their unique gifts and talents.

This year brings exciting new opportunities! Join us for guided tours of King’s Olive Oil Company, the Gadsden Museum of Art, and a step into history with a stained glass window tour of First UMC.

A wide variety of classes are available—there’s something for everyone! Enjoy sessions in kid’s theater, beginner pickleball, acrylic painting, knitting, crochet, flower arranging, cake decorating, cooking, and olive oil health benefits. You can also explore how to get started in the film industry or attend practical workshops on wills, investments, and choosing the right insurance policy.

New this year: Don’t miss Lunch and Laugh with Forrest Hinton on Thursday, July 31 at 12 noon—a special event for just $10, which includes a box lunch and plenty of laughs!
