Historical Fiction Author Martha Hall Kelly “The Martha’s Vineyard Beach and Book Club”

Inspired by true events, acclaimed novelist Martha Hall Kelly presents a World War II novel about hope and the power of storytelling. The Smith sisters are faced with the impossible task of holding their failing family farm together while German U-boats lurk off the shore of Martha’s Vineyard. In an attempt at normalcy, the girls start a book club, which grows both in members and influence. But all that is put at risk by a mysterious man who washes ashore and whispers of a spy in their midst. Who in their tight-knit island community can they trust?
