Samuels Public Library's SamiCon is back this September to celebrate SamiCon’s 10th birthday! SPL will be bringing the world of ANIMATION to you for this free comic con-inspired community event!
WHAT IS SAMICON?
Step into a world of imagination, creativity, and community at SamiCon — a celebration of comics, manga, anime, technology, and pop culture!
What started as a small, one-room gathering has grown into a full-library experience that brings together fans, families, local businesses, and organizations for a day of discovery and fun.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Explore everything the Library has to offer, from innovative tech and gaming resources to interactive databases and creative programs.
Throughout the day, you’ll find:

• Guest speakers and local authors
• An escape room
• Library resource demos
• Local organizations & craft vendors

Everyone is encouraged to dress up in their favorite costume that embraces the theme of Animation!
