Detour Doughnuts Story Time- Pete the Cat: Falling for Autumn

Detour's Story Time is a FREE reading and craft activity for ages 2-5. This community program is put on by nationally recognized neighborhood doughnut shop, Detour Doughnuts, and their in-house librarian & published author, Marci Peschke.

Come join us for some gourmet doughnuts, craft coffee experience using Oak Cliff Coffee Roasters, a break from the Texas heat, and some quality time with your toddler <3

We recommend coming about 10-15 minutes earlier to grab your treats and find a seat. You can browse our menu HERE.

Donations are voluntary and not required for entry or participation. All donations will be put towards funding our Story Time (books + craft material). Thanks in advance!

We're so glad you're here :)

While we love hosting Story Time, please remember that Detour continues to operate as a business during the event. We appreciate everyone’s help in being mindful that we’re all sharing the space.

Story Time days mean a little extra cleanup for our team. To help us keep things running smoothly, we kindly ask that families limit their visit to about 20 minutes after the event ends.

Also, as space is limited, we ask that each child attend with just one parent or guardian when possible.
