Connect and VOLUNTEER with Friends of the Dillon Ranger District

Project Date & Time: Friday July 18th 9am-1pm

Project Location: Gore Range (South) Trailhead Google Map Link. This is the scenic parking area in Ten Mile Canyon before Copper exit.

Project work: Building Buck and rail fencing at trailhead and a small footbridge.

Expect moderate work and limited hiking as we will be working out of the trailhead area.

What to Bring:


Work gloves if you have them



Work or hiking boots (NO sandals, flip flops or minimalist shoes)



Long pants



Long-sleeved shirt



Warm layers



Rain gear



Hat



Sunglasses (eye protection)



Sunscreen



Insect repellent



Allergy medications



Day pack



snacks/lunch



PLEASE bring enough drinking water (at least 2 liters per person)

Age Requirements for projects:





Ages 6-15 need to be accompanied by an adult.



Ages 16-18 must have parental consent via the FDRD waiver to attend.

Pets are not permitted



Alcohol/drugs/Smoking on any project is prohibited
