Birding 101

Birding is one of the most popular recreational pastimes in the nation. With nearly 600 bird species found in Texas alone, it can feel intimidating for newcomers.

Take flight with the Natural Resources team and learn how to overcome the beginner’s hurdle at our Birding 101 event! We’ll cover the basics of birding during a guided walk at Frisco Commons Park on February 18 from 9–10 a.m. The walk will begin at the Splash Pad on the west side of the parking lot.
