September is Parks for Pollinators Month, and our Natural Resources Division is celebrating with a series of BioBlitz events focused on pollinators as part of a national challenge hosted by the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA)!
Cities and Colleges across the country (and right here in North Texas) are competing to see who can log the most observations of plants, animals, and insects. Frisco is in the running, and we need your help to put our city on the map!
What is a BioBlitz?
It's a fun, fast-paced way to discover and document the plants, animals, and insects living in our parks. Using the iNaturalist app, participants will help record observations that contribute to real scientific research. Letβs get outside, learn about local biodiversity, and celebrate the pollinators that keep Frisco blooming! πΌπ
