Have you ever stepped away from alcohol or hard drugs, but still felt unsure where you really belonged in recovery spaces because cannabis is still part of your life? Maybe you’ve tried to get clean in the traditional way, but the “all-or-nothing” approach didn’t feel like your path. Or maybe you’ve already found balance with mindful cannabis use, but still wish there were people you could talk to who understand what you’re working through.
There are a lot of people quietly navigating recovery in their own way, who still need connection, support, and honesty—but don’t feel fully seen in most circles. “Stoned Sober” is being explored as a community space for people who are alcohol and/or hard drug free (or working on it), open about cannabis use, and interested in living with more clarity, self-awareness, and forward movement—without being judged for how their recovery looks.
This Interest Mixer is not a formal meeting. There will be no scripts, no pressure to talk, no labels placed on anyone, and no expectations to commit. It’s simply a relaxed gathering for anyone who thinks a community like this might matter—to listen, share thoughts, and see if this kind of group could mean something real to people like us.
Expect a calm space with light snacks, drinks, and chill music. You can talk, listen, observe, or just get a feel for the vibe. If a weekly Stoned Sober support-style group does move forward, it will grow out of the voices and needs of the people who show up. This isn’t about one person’s idea—it’s about building something together that makes recovery feel more possible, more honest, and more humane.
There’s no RSVP. Just come through if this speaks to you. Whether you’re curious, struggling, steady, or still figuring it out, you’re welcome here. This might end up being the beginning of something, or maybe just a valuable conversation among people who get it. Either way, your presence matters.
