About the event

Keeping the Slow Connections Alive: Understanding Tortoise Movements for Conservation
🐢 Sloooow and steady… wins conservation! 🐢
Join us for Café Sci on Tuesday, August 5 at 7pm as we welcome Steve Hromada, Conservation Postdoctoral Scholar at Fresno Chaffee Zoo.

He’ll take us into the world of desert tortoises, sharing how these iconic reptiles navigate fragmented landscapes and what that means for conservation.

Free, all ages (21+ to drink), and open to the public!
Science + good vibes = the perfect Tuesday night
