WHAT: Full Moon Night Paddle - This is a fully guided event to ensure safe passage for one and all
WHEN: September 6th Saturday
This years schedule is as follows... weather permitting... the day after will be a rain date:
September 6 - Saturday - Full Corn Moon
EVERYONE WILL MEET at the GHOUL RUNNINGS A-FRAME Location - 1773 S. River Rd, Fremont, OH (Directly across from the Fremont Reservoir)
AGES: Teens and Adults with paddling experience recommended - Younger children will be considered but must be approved by management
TIME: Times may vary a little due to the time the MOON rises. Plan to arrive at the A-Frame address above about 8-8:30pm and we will take care of all paperwork, take some pics and load up to start our adventure in the dark...! You are generally back by around 11pm-ish.
COST: $45.00 per person. teens & adults with some paddling experience suggested - will include kayak, paddle, life jacket, whistle, single glow light for the watercraft, transportation and includes our ACA certified guides (Limited space... Please RSVP and pay in advance
WAIVER - Must be read and signed prior to start of event - In the email we send you, there will be a LINK to an easy to fill out SMART WAIVER - save time and click the link and fill out prior to arrival.
OWN YOUR OWN KAYAK - Save $10 you will pay a $30.00 Guide/Reservation/Shuttle fee is required to join this event (Life Jackets are required on our trips... if you need to rent one of ours they are $5 each)
NO DOGS FOR NIGHT PADDLES!
TIPPING - If you enjoyed your experience, or our guides went above and beyond in helping make sure your adventure was the best it could be.. Cash tips are always appreciated!
WHAT TO BRING: Suggest bug spray for mosquitoes, water, cell phones (We sell dry bags for them) If you want to bring your own glow sticks or necklaces, etc... to decorate up your boat or person that is totally acceptable... Oh and bring your adventurous spirit! Layer up depending on temperatures.
