It's an intimate, family-friendly launch that’ll have you waking up the right way.
This song has been a journey for Jade, evolving over the years with the help of some seriously talented people. Originally written in 2021 with guitarist and friend Matt Cayford, it was born out of writing for more stripped-back live performances. The melody and lyrics came together organically, layered with minimal, yet intricate production that blends rhythmic tension, moving between 4/4 and unexpected 7/8 grooves.
ease my mind is a moment of introspection and growth, reflecting on her personal journey, as she steps into the next phase of her career. The song signals the beginning of a new chapter, shaped by recent experiences travelling between Perth and Los Angeles to write and create, resulting in an exciting catalogue of songs to come.
