Carus Thompson and Nathan Gaunt, two of W.Aโs most lauded, hardest touring acoustic artists come together for a special, seated, double bill show in the community heart of North Fremantle โ The North Freo Bowlo on Saturday 6th September.
Both singer-songwriters have taken their music from Perth to the world and back again. After twenty years in Melbourne Thompson has now returned to his home suburb of North Freo. Gaunt has settled back into Perth life after touring the US regularly, and become one of the cities most sought after music producers (producing Thompsonโs last two records), as well as being an incredible artist in his own right.
This will a special seated show at The North Fremantle Bowling Club, a community focused venue that is bringing the best of the arts to this little suburb, nestled between the Swan River and the Indian Ocean.

Globe trotting troubadour Carus Thompson has toured the world alongside The John Butler Trio, The Waifs, Xavier Rudd, Jack Johnson & Pete Murray, selling over 30,000 albums along the way. After 8 studio and 2 double live albums, and 25 years of hitting the road heโs built a loyal fan base, always delivering passionate, energetic, folk-rocking shows that entertain and engage. Heโs won a WAM Song of The Year, been a finalist in the highly respected International Song Writing Competition and is a favourite of local folk festivals like Fairbridge, Nannup and Bridgetown.

Nathan Gaunt
Since picking up his first guitar at the age of 17, Nathan Gaun has since written ten albums, played with opera singers in Italy, punk bands in New York, puppet shows in India, toured both Europe and America several times over. He has also written music for various projects such as film, t.v, and catwalk shows for New York fashion week. Nathan has won several awards including eleven WA Music Awards for best Vocalist, Guitarist, Instrumentalist, and Blues/Roots music, and a MICA for up and coming.
