Spring Chicken 5K 2025

RISE AND RUN WITH THE SPRING SUN!

Spring into fitness with the YMCA's annual 5k walk/run open to all ages. All proceeds benefit the YMCA Annual Campaign, supporting the Y's mission to strengthen our community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. At the Y, we believe that lasting personal and social changes can only occur when we all work together to invest in our kids, health, and neighbors. Every day, we work to ensure that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.

Awards to Top Overall Female and Male and 1st through 3rd in each age group. Age groups are: 1-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, and 85+.

You must Register by April 26, 2025, to receive a T-shirt. T-shirt Not guaranteed if registered after 4/26/2024.

Packet Pick-up is Friday, May 2, 5:00-6:45 PM or Race Day, 7:30 - 8:45 AM.

This event is in the Run All 4 Freeport Races. This race is also part of the Rockford Road Runners Circuit.
