Join our fly-tying experts and learn how to tie some of the most effective flies for both salt and freshwater.
Classes will be held on Wednesday evenings through April 1, 2026.
Each night we offer a Beginner Class from 5-6:30pm followed by an Intermediate Class from 7-8:30pm. Please do not sign up for both.
Registration opens one week prior to each class at 8:00 am on this site/eventbrite.

Intermediate Class, Week 11
Parachute Green Drake. The Parachute Green Drake is a dry fly pattern that imitates the large, slow-emerging Green Drake mayfly, a major hatch that triggers aggressive surface feeding. Its parachute hackle and upright wing provide stability and visibility, while the extended body and natural colors match the size and silhouette of the real insect. This fly is especially effective during Green Drake hatches in early summer, when trout become highly keyed in on this big meal.
