BLACK LOCUST "OAK-wood" Derby!

We're always up to some goofy stuff, but THIS goofy stuff benefits our Friends of Hereford Library! We proud to give back to our beloved Hereford Zone..
SO, we're hosting the FIRST- BLACK LOCUST OAKWOOD DERBY
JUNE 21st, starting at 1p- $25 entry fee
Build a derby car out of ANYTHING you want, hit the
thrift store for an old toy.
1 run down Black Locust Mountain (aka- our steep- ass driveway).
Longest distance wins.
GRAND PRIZE: $50 Black Locust Gift Certificate & swag!
AND- Prizes for 2nd & 3rd and other crowd- voted
categories!


Derby Car must meet following criteria:
Must not exceed 20lbs.
Must not exceed 2’ by 3’ dimensions
No height restrictions.
Must have at least 3 wheels touching the ground.
Must stand on its own.
No powered motion or controls.
No remote - controlled steering.


Stop in the taproom to fill out an entry form! 100% proceeds go to Friends of the Hereford Library to support library services in our beloved Hereford Zone!
