The German shorthaired pointer club of Ohio is hosting a AKC mock Hunt test/field trial & pointing breed training seminar. Current/Qualified judges will be on hand to help you better understand, interpret, and give instructions on the rules and regulations of all Hunt test levels, Junior-senior-master, of the AKC Hunt test system ~ and Field Trial stakes, Puppy- Derby- Open/Amateur Gun Dog- Limited Gun dog, of the AKC Field Trial system.
We will give instructions, explain expectations and then run braces by level as you would in an actual event scenario. These brace will be strictly all about learning, asking questions, Training and improving your own handling skills.
This event will take place at the Beaver valley pointer-setter grounds in Rochester, PA where we hold many of Our field Trials & Hunt tests, so this is a fantastic opportunity to know what it is all about and familiarize yourself and your Dog(s) to the grounds and what to expect at an event.
ALL WELCOME- this is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC so please share with anyone who may be interested .
$25.00 for GSPCO members includes- Two Chukar/quail, morning donuts/Coffee, and lunch.
$50.00 for NON club members includes- Two Chukar/quail, morning donuts/Coffee, lunch, AND a 1 year-paid GSPCO membership.
