Hello North Rimmers! Please join us October 17th in Fredonia, AZ at the Buckskin Tavern to celebrate the legacy of the North Rim. This event will serve as a 2025 Survivor Party and a Grand Canyon Lodge Memorial. This event is open to all North Rim employees past and present.
Funding for this event will come from sales of Kaibab Squirrel pins, as well as, donations. Please contact myself or Matthew Marciano if you'd like to purchase a Kaibab Squirrel pin or make a donation. I will also share his original posts on this page if you have any questions.
Festivities will begin at the Buckskin Tavern at 6pm (Utah time)
Whats included?
🐿️ This is a free to attend event, brought to you by community fundraising. All former North Rim employees, National Park Service employees/volunteers, Grand Canyon Conservancy members, North Rim Canyon Trail Ride employees, GC volunteers and Kaibab Lodge employees are welcome to attend this event.
🌮 Catered Taco Bar - Vegetarian & vegan options available - brought to you by the Buckskin & Kanab Meats. Time TBD.
🍻🍷 Beer & Wine - Specific beer and wine will be included! Brand of beer and wine TBD. Cocktails (and other beer/wine) pay on your own.
🚍 Shuttle service - Shuttle service will be provided to and from event. Finalized shuttle route to be posted at a later date. See Heathers post on this page for more details.
🛍 Swag - Custom printed bags including survivor shirt, koozie, and other goodies will be distributed on a first come first serve basis.
🎟️ Free-To-Enter raffle, with prizes!

📖 Program: 15 - 30 minute welcome and stories of life on the rim. Please notify me if you are interested in speaking. Looking for 2 - 3 minute stories of fond North Rim memories.
