On Saturday, July 26, 2025, join the Idinleke Atlanta Family as they pay homage to the great mysteries of the sea and wealth at the 3rd Annual Virgin Islands Aje & Olokun Festival, taking place in St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands.
The Aje & Olokun Festival is a celebration that pays homage to the energies of Olokun, the Yoruba diety of the sea, and her daughter, Aje, the deity of wealth. The purpose of this festival is to uplift the wealth and prosperity of the entire community that participates. There will be several activities begining Wednesday, June 23rd that will include a lecture on Olokun, an Ancestral Remembrance Workshop, an all white beach party, and an Orisa song and drum class. On Saturday, the community celebration will begin at 2 PM. A community shrine to Olokun and Aje will be open for the community. Offerings include kola nuts, bananas (lady finger/small), pineapple, apples, oranges, sugar cane, eggs, coconuts, popcorn, money, white wine, sweet drinks, and liquor. Following the offerings, there will be dancing and drumming for the Orisa, followed by a procession to the sea.
Wear ALL WHITE.

Aje Olokun (The Big Conch Shell) is a symbol of wealth and prosperity (Agboola, 2008). Olokun is an important deity of the Yoruba people of Nigeria West Africa. Olokun represents the deep mysteries of the sea and is the ruler of all the water of the world.
