Peatland Lino-Printing Workshop with Midge

Led by Amsterdam-based artist and mycologist midge (@midge.paints), in this workshop we will navigate present-day peatlandscapes through the grooves and ditches of our linocuts and explore creative futures through inky rewetting!

No experience necessary & all materials provided.

This workshop accompanies the exhibition 'Limbo: a collective exhibition on peatlands as terrains in flux', initiated by RE-PEAT and co-curated by Bethany Copsey, Judith Schubert, Moss Berke, Lu Fraser, Corinna Studier and Laisa Cordes. After the workshop, you can check out the exhibition, attend De Proef's annual Christmas market and get stuck in with the other great activities that we'll be hosting - including a free peatland puppet-making workshop!

Leer hoe je je eigen veen-geïnspireerde linosnede maakt!

Onder begeleiding van de Amsterdamse kunstenaar en mycoloog Midge (@midge.paints) verkennen we in deze workshop de hedendaagse veenlandschappen. Door de groeven en greppels van onze lino’s verbeelden we alternatieve en natte toekomsten.

Geen ervaring nodig. Wij zorgen voor alle materialen

Deze workshop maakt deel uit van de tentoonstelling ‘’. Een tentoonstelling van RE-PEAT, gecureerd door Bethany Copsey, Judith Schubert, Moss Berke, Lu Fraser, Corinna Studier en Laisa Cordes. Na je bezoek aan de workshop is er de mogelijkheid om de tentoonstelling bezoeken, de jaarlijkse kerstmarkt van De Proef bijwonen of om mee te doen aan een tweede workshop over veenpoppen maken. 

De workshop zal Engelstalig zijn.
