We will work on foundations, steps, names, WHY we dance and why dance is so important in our life.

The ndombolo workshop will end with a talk about DR Congo. In this journey of celebration Colosal will share some knowledge about Dr Congo's history and east of Dr Congo situation - any questions is wellcome:)
Ndombolo is a genre of Dance and music originating in the Dr Congo Derived from Soukous in the 1990s, with fast-paced hip-swaying dance rhythms, often accompanied by beats and percussion - driven music. The style became widespread in the mid-1990s and the subsequent decade, dominating dance floors in central eastern and west of Africa. It inspired many other dance styles and artists around the world.
Colosal is born and raised in Dr Congo, Kinshasa, where he grew up with ndombolo, dance and music, as a big part of he´s culture and everyday lifestyle. He is looking forward to share he´s knowledge and love for DR Congo with you, and to celebrate Congo´s Independence day with you all.
AFRO WORKSHOP:
Colosal will provide a understanding of different approach of grooves and how to navigate into similar steps from different Afro styles and we will end with a small combo max 30 secs.
Colosal has 20 years experience as a proffessionel dancer, creative artist, choreographer, teacher, battle, performer and more. He is working both at the stage as a dancer and behind the scene as a choreographer on different productions, dance theater, TV-productions and other performance.
