Udstillingsstedet Sydhavn Station
Deltagende kunstnere er Amalie Vestergaard Olsen, Anna Elisabeth Dupont Hansen, Johanne Stoffersen, Maria Zahle, Nils Skalegård og Signe Rohardt Lund.
Udstillingen Verden består af støv præsenterer nye værker af seks samtidskunstnere, som arbejder på tværs af medier som skulptur, tekstil, foto og lyd. Både inde og udenfor udstillingsrummet på det udendørs billboard og stationsbygningens plakatfrise vil udstillingen kredse om fortællinger om det hjemlige, det nære og det håndgjorte, og man vil bl.a. kunne finde kurveflet, løse tråde, snapshots fra en barsel, gamle ure, et omklædningsrum og en stueplante.
Verden består af støv giver plads til de små rytmer, støvkorn og handlinger i hverdagen, som oftest overses, men som i udstillingen bliver til større byggesten til nye fortællinger og verdener. Verdener, som er skabt ud fra det nære, sårbare, genkendelige og umiddelbare, og hvor hjemmet bliver udgangspunktet for disse historier, handlinger og relationer. En åben invitation til at træde ud af stationens hektiske tempo og ind i nye omsorgsfulde verdener.
Udstillingen er kurateret af Sydhavn Stations medlem Signe Rohardt Lund i samarbejde med Christine Due og Marie Vinther.
Udstillingen realiseres med generøs støtte fra Augustinus Fonden, 15. Juni Fonden, Rådet for Visuel Kunst, Kgs. Enghavepuljen, Jorck’s Fond og Den Hielmstierne-Rosencroneske Stiftelse.

Adgangsforhold: Der er trinfri adgang til udstillingsstedet fra gaden og adgang via elevator fra togperronen. Der er ubemandet offentligt toilet på pladsen uden for stationsbygningen med adgang for kørestolsbrugere.
NB. På Sydhavn Station kan man indtil da se plakatfrise- og billboardudstillingen “Marie F & Matilde S” af Marie Flarup Kristensen og Matilde Søes Rasmussen. udstillingen er åben døgnet rundt indtil d. 13. august.

The exhibition Verden består af støv presents new works by six contemporary artists working across media such as sculpture, textiles, photography and sound. Both inside and outside the exhibition space, on the outdoor billboard and the station building’s poster frieze, the exhibition explores narratives of the domestic, the intimate and the handmade. Visitors will encounter woven baskets, loose threads, snapshots from maternity leave, old clocks, a changing room and a houseplant.
Verden består af støv creates space for the small rhythms, particles of dust and everyday gestures that are often overlooked, but in the exhibition become the building blocks for new stories and worlds. Worlds shaped by the private, the vulnerable, the familiar and the immediate, where the home becomes the starting point for these stories, actions and relationships. As an open invitation to step away from the station's hectic pace and into new, caring worlds.
The exhibition is curated by Sydhavn Station member Signe Rohardt Lund in collaboration with Christine Due and Marie Vinther.

Accessibility: There is step-free access to the exhibition space from the street and elevator access from the train platform. There is an unstaffed public restroom on the square outside the station building, accessible to wheelchair users.
Note: At Sydhavn Station, the poster frieze and billboard exhibition Marie F & Matilde S by Marie Flarup Kristensen and Matilde Søes Rasmussen is on view 24 hours a day until August 13.
