Big Fun Productions, in proud partnership with the City of Fredericton and Capital Region Tourism, is thrilled to present Five Alarm Funk for their only Maritime performance of the summer, happening July 5 in Officer’s Square. This milestone event marks an exciting chapter in Big Fun Productions’ growing partnership with the city, celebrating community, creativity, and the spirit of live music. In the spirit of that celebration and partnership, this show is FREE to attend for the public.
Known for their explosive energy and unmatched showmanship, Five Alarm Funk has captivated audiences coast to coast with their fierce blend of funk, rock, and world rhythms. Frequent fan-favourites at the Harvest Music Festival and staples of past East Coast festivals like Evolve and Folly Fest, the band promises an electrifying performance that will ignite downtown Fredericton.
This free, all-ages concert will also feature local support from genre-bending party starters Weak Size Fish and special DJ sets from Cirkatyan.
With local vendors, family-friendly activities, and a day full of festivities, it’s set to be the party of the summer — a vibrant celebration of local culture and artistic collaboration.
