We're in our current worship series here at Fredericktown United Methodist Church called "Unboxed." Clearcut categories are helpful. They make life easier to understand. But real people don’t fit neatly into boxes. We are full of tensions and paradoxes that, when embraced, can bring immense depth and beauty to life. Through this series, we will explore how faith in Christ calls us away from a boxed up faith experience of the world and into the wonderful truth of being "unboxed."

This week, we're looking at how categories like “us” and “them” can give us a false sense of identity and community based on who is inside and who is outside. But through Jesus, we no longer have to identify ourselves this way. We are called to reach across those boundaries with God’s love in action.

We are intentional about building a welcoming and affirming community that does more than just play lip service to those claims and actually means it while working to live it into reality. YOU are welcome here. The only things not welcome here are hate and harm.
