Pricing a home well requires more than pulling comps and applying rules of thumb. Many Realtors know how to complete a CMA, but fewer truly understand how appraisers evaluate differences between properties and decide what actually impacts value.
This workshop is designed to close that gap. Participants will take part in a hands on exercise where everyone prices the same property using their own CMA approach. An appraiser will then walk through how that same property is evaluated from an appraisal perspective. The group will compare approaches and discuss how differences in features, layout, and functionality are weighed in real market conditions.
The focus is not on fixed dollar adjustments or universal formulas. The focus is on understanding how appraisers think, how they address what matters most, and how value is determined when homes are similar but not identical.
This session is ideal for Realtors who want stronger pricing conversations, more defensible CMAs, and greater confidence when advising buyers and sellers. Light snacks will be provided, and space is limited to encourage discussion and interaction.
