From Orphan Blocks to Unique Quilts

Presented by Donna Edwards. Explore techniques to turn those “orphan” blocks into one-of-a-kind quilts. The first half of the workshop will cover design topics such as layouts, use of sashings, ways to unify the blocks through color or fabric selections, and how to deal with blocks that are different sizes. The second half of the workshop will allow attendees to design a quilt, using either their own or provided orphan blocks, to reinforce the topics covered in the presentation. Sign up required.
