Unwrapping the Names of Jesus: An Advent Devotional Book & Saturday Morning Gatherings

Unwrapping the Names of Jesus by Asheritah Ciuciu explores a different biblical name for Jesus each day of Advent, and every daily devotion concludes with a prayer and suggested challenge or activity. Sandy Page and Cora Weiland will lead conversation and contemplation inspired by this devotional each Saturday in Advent. (While it may enhance your experience, you do not need to read the book to attend these gatherings.)

Individuals and families are also welcome to use this book to keep Advent together this year. Copies of the book are available for $7 at the Sunday School check-in table in the narthex. They are also available from many online retailers for a similar price.

Partly because we don’t know how." Whether you’re new to celebrating Advent or it’s a beloved season for you, this resource and these gatherings are offered to help us do just that- prepare our hearts to receive Emmanuel, God with us.
