PRESS RELEASE:
From the Washington Parish Sheriff
Sheriff Smith is happy to announce that on July 15, 16, and 17, the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Unity Youth Camp will happen for all children in 3rd-12th grade. Please like and share this post, as our goal is to get as many Washington Parish students registered as possible for what is sure to be an unforgettable experience.
Unity Youth Camp will bring together students from across Washington Parish for three days of games, activities, classes, and leadership building. Students will be divided into age groups and assigned to a counselor who will guide them through the camp and keep track of them as they play and learn. Over a dozen indoor and outdoor activities will give our children an opportunity to meet students from other schools and learn about safety, leadership, and teamwork as they move through the stations.
Registration is $10 per camper, and includes a Youth Camp t-shirt, breakfast and lunch, and bus transportation to and from Pine High School all three days. The registration deadline is July 3, 2025.
Parents, be on the lookout for the flyer and camper’s application form. In the next week, your student will receive an application at school to bring home. Applications can also be found on our website at WWW.WPSO.LA.GOV under the “About” tab, or you can pick one up at our offices in Franklinton and Bogalusa.
We look forward to seeing you all there in July.
