Emotional Recovery from a Natural Disaster

This is a free in-person event at Macon County Public Library, facilitated by the Vaya Health Geriatric Team. Contact Hours are provided through NC Department of Health and Human Services.

In this course, you’ll learn about the physical and emotional effects of a disaster and how people commonly react to trauma. You’ll also gain practical tips for coping with stress and emotions in healthy ways, helping you build better resilience during tough times.
