Bayou Bend LUNCH & LEARN presents Healing Within: Mental Health, Grief, & the Path Forward

Karla Vappie, mental health advocate and Director of School-Based Health Centers, will lead the discussion of understanding and reducing stigma in conditions like depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Learn how to protect mental health through physical activity, peer support, self-care, and positive coping mechanisms like mindfulness and healthy lifestyle choices.

Participants will be treated to a complimentary lunch courtesy of our sponsors Knights of Columbus council 1420, Acadiana Hearing Center, and Enos & Veronica Fangue. Participants may also bring their own lunch.

This event is FREE to attend, but registration is required in order to ensure enough seating and lunches.
