Workshop: Gouache Moths & Butterflies

Beat the winter blues with a gouache moths and butterflies class! in this workshop, participants will explore the expressive qualities of gouache while painting moths and butterflies.



We’ll focus on: observing organic shapes, patterns, and color relationships, and learn techniques such as layering, color mixing, and adding fine details to capture color and texture. Through guided demonstrations and hands-on practice, students will learn how to simplify moths and butterflies into organic and symmetrical shapes, create depth, and bring delicate forms to life.



This class is suitable for beginners and experienced painters alike, and each participant will leave with a finished moth or butterfly painting and greater confidence working with gouache. Teens and Adults only.
