Workshop: Gouache Plants & Succulents

Beat the winter blues with my gouache plants and succulents workshop! In this workshop, participants will explore the vibrant and versatile medium of gouache while painting plants and succulents.



We’ll focus on observing form, color variation, and texture, and learn techniques such as layering, blending, color mixing and adding crisp details to capture the unique shapes found in nature. Through guided demonstrations and hands-on practice, students will learn how to simplify plant forms, build harmonious color palettes, and create lively, finished compositions.



This class is suitable for beginners and experienced painters alike, and each participant will leave with a completed plant or succulent painting and greater confidence working with gouache. Teens and adults only.
