Throwing & Coiling Class

Our professional instructors will explore hand building, wheel throwing, and surface application techniques. Students practice forms on the potter’s wheel as well as study design aesthetics for hand built objects in a small class setting. Emphasis is placed on craftsmanship and functional products. Each class includes specialized demonstrations and studio time to freely create.

Class descriptions are below. All levels are welcome. Students receive 1/2 off our hourly studio time rate, making it only $10/hr to continue to practice or make pieces throughout the month of class. Spots are limited. If class is full, please sign up for our waitlist.

Time: 6:00-8:00pm
Date: First four Wednesdays of the month

Week 1: Wheel throwing
Week 2: Wheel throwing
Week 3: Hand Building
Week 4: Glaze application
