Bridging the Gap is a nonprofit group vested in the growth of Frankfort and Franklin County. Our mission is to create scholarships for kids from Frankfort and Franklin County to attend Kentucky State University. We accomplish this by using creative and innovative methods for success through event planning and philanthropy.
The Bridging the Gap Bowl & Series of Events is a multilayered event connecting our youth, small business, nonprofit organizations and community through sports and entertainment.
🏈 July 10th-12th Roni Robinson will be hosting a three day football camp event for kids ages 9-14.

This camp will run as a NFL combine would as our sponsor prepare for the draft. Yep!!! A draft!!!
🏈 Two days of players and coach evaluation and one day of play.
(Coaches are Community Volunteers and Frankfort Legends)
During those assessment days our local high school and collegiate football players will assist in demonstration of drills and instructions.
🏈 Day 1 (July 10th) 11am-1:30pm @ Frankfort High

*40 yard dash, shuttle, 3 cone, standing broad jump
*Various bag, cone, ladder and change of direction drills
🏈 Day 2 (July 11h) 11am-1:30pm @ Western Hills High School
*Various football fast twitch movements

* Food provided by Penn Station and Friends for coaches , participants and volunteers on day 1&2

(3) Cornhole Tournament- Cash Prizes for 1st and 2nd place
(4) Car and Motorcycle Showcase with Special Guest Host
