Join us for the Autumn Equinox Sunrise Observance at Kinstone where we have a unique alignment visible only at Equinox at sunrise, we call it The Heart Alignment. Stand with us in The Three Witnesses sculpture as the sun aligns through the Equinox Window and highlights the Heart Stone. Sit or stand to bask in the equinox light.
This is one of two Equinox events we hold at Kinstone. During this Sunrise event, we will welcome the Autumn Equinox together. A second, separate event is held the evening before the date of Equinox to see the Sunset Alignment on the last day of Summer.
Date: Monday, September 22, 2025 Time: 6:30am – 7:30am (at Sunrise)
COST: admission to Kinstone ($10/person); plan to pay your admission in person in the Visitor Center
Note: the Visitor Center / Gift Shop will open at 6:00am to allow folks participating in this event to pay upon arrival and visit with us after the event as well.

This is a quiet, meditative event with a short opening rite and reading to welcome Autumn.
Dress for the weather. Bring a camp chair to sit on, for your comfort, if you wish. Be prepared for it to be breezy and cool up here on the ridge! (Most people underestimate the wind and cold.)
If the weather is bad, this event will be cancelled. Cancellations will be posted only on the website event page and on this Facebook event page at least one (1) hour before the scheduled start time for this event.
