Game Time @ Foster Library

Event Details - A fortnightly group games session. Come for a social play or be as competitive as you like. Scheduled games for 2025 are:

Catan - Oct 4

Magic: The Gathering Commander- Mar 22, May 17, Jul12, Oct 18, Nov 29

Scythe - Apr 5, Sep 6, Nov 15

Hero Quest (D&D style game) - May 31, Aug 9

Zombicide - Aug 23

July 12 Magic: The Gathering Draft session. This special Booster Draft session will be held at Mirboo North Library - 34 Ridgway, at 10am.

Special 24/7 access holders - Jul 12, Dec 13: These sessions involve a longer style game, requiring all participants to have a 24/7 access fob to participate in the session as the game will continue outside of regular staffed hours.

The Booster Draft session will work as stated here: First, players sit around a table in a semi-circle. Each player then opens a booster pack and picks a single card without showing the other players.

Each player then passes the remaining cards to the left, and continues drafting from the new cards they get from the player on their right. This continues until all of the cards in those packs have been distributed (drafted). Then each player opens a second pack, but this time, pass the pack to the right. After all those cards are drafted, you do the same with the third pack, passing to the left again. At the beginning of the game, each player will have enough cards to build a card deck. When the game is complete the booster cards will be devided between players in order of the results of the game.

This session adheres to the terms and conditions that underpin all Myli Library competitions (see below).

Eligibility: Entrants must be Myli members. Myli employees and their immediate family members are not eligible to win the prize. For the purposes of this competition, "immediate family" includes a spouse, ex-spouse, de facto partner, child, stepchild, grandchild, parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-sibling, or first cousin.

Prize: The cards in the booster pack constitute the prize for this session. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Liability: The organiser and participating libraries are not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during participation in the competition or arising from the use of the prize. The organiser accepts no liability for any issues or complications that may arise in relation to the prize.

Termination or Modification: The organiser reserves the right to modify, cancel, or terminate the competition in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
