Items to bring:
- Eye and ear protection (ear plugs only; no ear muffs, please, they get in the way)
- hat/cap with visor (to protect from sun and flying shells)
- Closed-toe shoes
- Shotgun + chokes; semi-automatic and over-under models are preferred, but a pump-action will work
- Ammo that goes with your gun (one box of 25 shells/round); I usually shoot 2-3 rounds.
- Shell pouch
- CASH (the range does not accept credit cards)
- Cold water/electrolytes
Costs:
$1 Range fee for EVERYBODY
$8 per round of trapshooting for non-members of YTS (Yuma Trap and Skeet Club)
$9 per box of 20 gauge ammo (estimated, this can change)
Costs for safety glasses and foam earplugs
If you want to become a YTS member (OPTIONAL!):
$60 for an annual membership
$6 per round of trapshooting
$60 for an 11-round punchcard (=best value!)
Our events are open to the public and we will teach you range etiquette and basic shotgun skills.
We reserve the right to shoot with us and to borrow our gear to individuals who follow all safety precautions. If we see someone not being safe we WILL ask you to stop shooting!
